Alt i alt mega god valuta for pengene.

Nice stay in the middle of the rice fields
For me it was the best location to stay in Ubud. I was close to the city (just 5 min to walk) but had the quietness of the rice fields. There is a beautiful path through the rice fields and a river I visited.
The price of the hotel was very fair. I had a beautiful view from my balcony, tasty breakfast with choices. When I needed someone I could always find someone.
I did not have warm water and the furniture did not work so well (Doors closing) for me it was fine.and for the money very fair.
Thank you for the nice stay
Gusti gardens 2 was hard to find! You cannot get a taxi to take you there. The last 200meters is up a narrow alley which only scooters and people can access.
Once you eventually find it (tricky if you arrive late at night!) it is quite delightful in its simplicity and outlook. Definately ask for an upstairs room. The views over the rice padis are fab.
Very minimal English spoken and not the friendliest of hosts. But overall once you are there, settled into your room , gusti gardens 2 is a haven in Ubud.
Our flights got disrupted by the volcano in Java so we arrived one week later than expected. Nyoman at Gusti sent a driver to pick us up at the air port and then came and settled us in at 1am in the morning. Because our booking was a week earlier, the guest house was full when we finally arrived, so they very kindly put us in a beautiful villa for the same price.
Very lovely family, would highly recommend.
I read previous reviews, so I knew the last 100m to Gusti's house are not accessible by car and that a headlight or a torchlight would be useful for late evening or early morning access. If you are a light sleeper, you may be disturbed by singing roosters or frogs. We spent our last night in Ubud at Gusti's Garden so to test whether this kind of accomodation could meet our needs. Test passed successfully. I liked the ceiling fan for ventilation. At Gusti's, breakfast is a mix of banana pancake, fresh fruit platter, tea, coffee and toasted bread was just right. While there, I had a closer look at the organization of a balinese family temple, took pictures of the daily offerings to the gods, and enjoyed both the close proximity of the city centre (150m away down the hill) and the peacefulness of the setting in the middle of rice fields along a paddy rice pathway where people and motorcycles sometimes mingle.
déplacement inutile en taxi pour se rendre à cet endroit car la chambre payée et réservée n'était plus disponible
Elle avait été donnée à quelqu'un d'autre .Pire je n'étais pas le seul client dans cette situation .
Located at 10 minutes walking distance from the boiling life of the Ubud main street, in a quite, bucolic surroinding with excellent views to the rice fields.
The staff was charming and helpful.

Nice hotel surrounded by paddy field.
Comfortable stay. The hotel has arranged us a nice car with an excellent driver for daily tour package.
Gästhuset låg lite avsides med en smal backig väg upp.
Eftersom vi kom sent såg det lite dystert ut pch det var beckmörkt.
Men det blev ganska bra ändå.
In the rice fields, hard to get to no parking, nice pool but not very confortable we booked and paid two nights but left the first morning before breakfast...

it's good with rice field.
Peaceful and impressive.
You can feel the outside of the town totally.
u can enjoy the rice field and the people living calmly but it's not easy to comeback at night alone cause it's too dark and narrow alley the way home. Not far from the main road of ubud. it takes only 5 minutes from there.
The family are also kind.
Nice breakfast with tea and coffee.
I enjoyed a lot. Maybe I'll stay there again if I come to Ubud again.
You can ask the pick up service from the airport by reasonable price.
