Good place with some notable issues.
The place is massive just as advertised and offers a traditional villa experience. But, for the price, there is a lot left to be desired. There are different places to lounge in and just chill... terrace, pool, covered lounge, balcony. Beds are comfortable with mosquito netting around them. Shower water gets hot and lasts. Large kitchen. But, there are issues with the place that do affect the experience.
- Cars cannot come into the area. So you will have to take your luggage approximately 0.5 miles along a narrow path. This was not communicated to us and we had to wait till this older gentleman came back 30 minutes later with a trolley while we waited on the main road.
- You will need a scooter to get from here to places in town. Or walk the 0.5 miles to get to a taxi.
- The bedrooms are separate from the main house and from each other.
- There is only a small bar of soap given and nothing else. You will need to buy toiletries or bring them with you.
- There is no AC in the main living room area that also hosts the kitchen. Its gets hot in here during the day. There is AC in the bedrooms.
- There are no mosquito repellents in the main living area. Only in the bedrooms.
- Kitchen utensils and pans are old. We could not use two of the pans as they had paint peeling off.
- TV is ancient and connected to an old DVD player with equally old movies on offer.
Overall, if some of the above were improved, this could easily be a 4* place.
