"You get what you paid for. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Way outdated, but everything appeared at first glance to be clean. Then I started noticing stuff. The bed felt lumpy, furnishings were actually pretty cheap and worn out, the bathtub was cracked and the curtain was missing the liner. Peeling wall paint, stained, dirty and outdated carpets, and mismatched furniture from previous decades. The A/C unit was very noisy. As soon as I walked in, the room had a musty smells."

"Our sink drain was broken and would not drain at all. There was no available maintenance person at the time the issue was discovered. We were offered a change of room but we had a child already asleep so this wasn’t convenient. The next morning breakfast was disappointing. The pancake machine was out in of pancake batter, the yogurt machine was out of yogurt, the toaster smelled like fire, the coffee station was out of flavors, the tea station was also out of stock of our usual favorites that Tru typically supplies, and what was labeled oatmeal was actually grits. "

"The pool was closed, the bar was closed. The property smelled like marijuana, nobody ever cleaned. I booked the hotel because of the amenities and was not worth the money AT ALL. Don’t waste your money or time. The rooms were dirty and they have a door that connect to the next room and it is only blocked off with tape. Just horrible"

"Breakfast was great, room was clean and spacious with a kitchen and cooking supplies, pool was warm. We had a great stay and didn’t want to check out. Could tell the lady making the breakfast and keeping it running cared and I trusted her! Loved our stay!!"
