Savannah Beach and Racquet Club is the quiet residential side of the Island. North Beach has tons of dolphins, watch the ships and shrimp boats. Walk to Huc-A-Poos and Tybean! Lots of fun little shops and restaurants just a block away.
You can drive, rent a bike, rent a golf cart, rent kayaks, rent boats, walk, call a taxi.
The large king bed shares an open space to the small bunk bed, perfect for a child.

Beautiful sunsets and easy access to pools and beach

The condo was clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils. Entry and exit process easy. Third story position enabled BEAUTIFUL SUNSET views. Elevator made packing in and out a breeze. Pools enjoyable. Laundry equipment worked well, but process would have been easier if we brought our own quarters. It took a couple of stops at area businesses to get sufficient quarters. This in no way is the fault of the property - just something for us to remember for our next trip here and hopefully helpful for ones coming to this property. We look forward to our next stay!

Peaceful and relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. The over all property is well maintained and safe. The pictures are accurate and the view is breathtaking and will make you want to sit on the balcony and take it all in. The beach area is very nice because it is not crowded at all. It is a bay view so it doesn't have waves but it's still very peaceful and relaxing. We have no complaints about our stay and enjoyed it very much. It is a very quiet area and no one bothered us. If i had to pick something that needed improvement, it would be that the bathroom is small. Overall i think its just the building design though. These buildings are nothing new or fancy but I would highly recommend this rental. You will not be disappointed

It's ok!

We rented this condo, and it was less that what we expected but it was ok. This unit is on the third floor and has a great view of the ocean. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the dolphins play. The unit itself is very small. When you open the unit door you are in the bedroom which took us by surprise. The bed was excellent. The bathroom is small, and the shower needs to be updated. It had some cracks in it. The handle on the sliding glass door was broken off and awkward to open. You can't check in until 4 and when we arrived shortly after 5 the white card that was supposed to be in the lockbox was not there so we could not get through the gate. We called office left message, emailed and after 30 mins or so we finally followed behind another car to get on the grounds. We finally found out that a small disc attached to the key chain was a new way to open the resort gate. The lock box is a hard to open and close, need to be replaced. Overall, the unit was fine as we were only there for a couple of days.

The view was fantastic and exactly as advertised. While the amenities are basic and a bit dated, they were comfortable and met our needs. The condo is priced fairly, and the owners were responsive throughout our stay. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience.

Condo was nice but dated. Bathroom needs a complete update. Weather turned pretty chilly, 40s at night, so extra blankets would have been nice. Bed and bedding were nice and comfortable. Living room love seat and recliner were comfortable. Refrigerator was pretty loud. Was surprised there wasn’t an elevator but don’t believe one was listed either. Very convenient to walk about 50 steps right to the beach which was very walkable. Kitchen amenities were adequate.

If you’re looking for a place to rest and relax with the best Ocean view well look no further. Reservation online was so easy a toddler could do it also check in instructions a no brainer. Condo was clean and comfortable with the best Ocean view all day everyday. Room was cool and comfortable and so quiet. Oh and I did not mention the Price it was Amazing also. Cudos to Maintenance, Groundskeeper and the best Housekeeping ever. Thanks so much Tybee Island Rentals we will definitely be returning. Sincerely Annette L

As others have mentioned, the apartment is very small in every respect -- living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. But it is well equipped, comfortable, and has great views. If you're looking for a quieter Tybee Island beach experience, this is a great place. The only real downside for us was the pool area being constantly overrun with families -- there was almost never an umbrella, chair or table available. But the beach is just a few steps beyond and better in most ways anyway.

Quiet getaway

Great location. Not far into Tybee so the beach was always quiet. Condo was great. Everything you need is there. Only suggestion is to add pot holders for the oven. I had to use the towel to get an item out of oven. Balcony has clear view of the ocean so having morning coffee was a great site. Pool was clean and walk to ocean was easy. Wonderful place to getaway and relax. A great trip all and all.

needs a TV in the Bedroom and needs instructions on how to use the 2 remotes for the only TV in the place! need to let people know there is a elevator at the other end of the building, e found it last day after walking up and down the 3 flights of stairs at the end we were at several times with BAD KNEES !

Not up to par

The tile floors were sticky. You could not walk around without shoes. Biggest surprise. We were scheduled to stay 5 days and four night with occupancy of two adults and were only given a total of 4 wash clothes and 4 towels. Only 1 comfortable chair to sit on the deck. We stayed in the same complex last year and had a great experience. We were looking for a king bed this visit. This is the reason this unit was chosen. Will not go through Vrbo or owner rental. More stipulations than with the rental company we used last year and last year condo was more updated and nicer. We left early from the rental.

Great Views!

My husband and I stayed for a week in April. The condo is comfortable for a couple and nicely appointed. The views of the bay are wonderful and we enjoyed watching dolphins and ships and boats come and go. Nice long stretch of beach to walk. The kitchen is fine for cooking meals. The king size bed is comfortable. The bedroom wall has been removed which makes the bedroom feel larger but when you come through the condo door, you look right at the bed. There are several beach chairs stored in the condo. The complex is nicely maintained and the pools looked very nice (too cool to swim but nice lounges for sunning). There are two tennis courts and one dedicated pickleball court. When visiting around the island, there are parking meters so bring quarters! We ate dinner at 80 East Gastropub and highly recommend it. Easy 20 min drive to Savannah. We would stay at Sun-Setter again. The only reasons for not giving 5 stars: the bathroom needs updating, faucets old and hard to use, tub/shower is uneven on the bottom, refrigerator was noisy at times, and we only had one key (could have used two).
