The moment you arrive, the bright and beachy colors, along with the delightful tin roof, beadboard wall, and white picket fence, create a picturesque setting for an amazing beach stay.

Step inside the main cottage, where a warm and welcoming living room/dining and kitchen area beckon you in. The first sleeping space features a delightful Twin daybed, adorned with colorful pillows and throws, creating a cozy and inviting spot for relaxation. The second sleeping space offers a Full bed, nestled in a private three-walled romantic nook right around the bar area.

The intricate design of this cottage is both clever and creative, with everything thoughtfully placed and functional. The decor exudes a peaceful and calming atmosphere, embracing the light and colors of the sea. The adorable eat-in kitchen and overstuffed chairs in the living room, complemented by a screen TV, add to the comfort and enjoyment of your stay.

The full bathroom is located through the kitchen towards the back of the house and conveniently features a second door leading to the outside, facing the guest house.

Perfect little beach cottage

Adoreable decor, great pieces to make the small space functional yet comfy! Outdoor shower was convenient for the 99.5 step walk from the beach. Felt at home here

Sweetest Little Cottage

This is my second time staying in this cottage and I love it. It has everything you need for a weekend retreat. Incredibly close to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. Host was always helpful and prompt to respond.

The perfect cottage!

This was the perfect cottage for my sister and me to stay at for a long weekend or unwind! We were close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and Savannah. Everything worked as expected and was as described. We were not disappointed and would recommend this cottage for two to three people who get along very well. The rental company was easy to work with and provided check in and check out information in a timely manner. Thank you for this jewel and we look forward to staying with you again.

Cute little cottage

Perfect location; only 99 steps to the beach. Great beach path. Small 1 “bedroom” cottage with a detached bedroom. The inside bedroom isn’t private but was great with my daughter. She slept on the daybed so we could easily talk but have our own space. We didn’t use the detached room. Comfortable but small.

Great Little Gem

Super cute place to get away! Being just a short walk from the beach meant being able to watch the sunrise across the water. The main cottage is quite small, so don't pack a lot of stuff! However, the quaintness makes up it! The separate bedroom was a perfect oasis away from the kids, while being close enough to not be removed. We had a mishap with a lock, but management was super responsive and had the situation resolved in no time. The kitchen came super stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. The only negative thing about this place I can think of is a broom would have been nice to keep up with the inevitable beach vacation sand.

Fantastic Locale, Tucked away out of sight

This was a very cozy locale only a few steps from the beach. Very clean and tidy. Not a lot of noise. Only issue was AC vents were a little clogged. Husband cleaned one out a little and airflow returned. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Will be back in the future. Thanks for an awesome time!

Hot visit to Tybee

Washer & dryer didn't work. A/C couldn't keep up with the hot weather, nighttime was the worst trying to sleep and it wasn't cool enough for comfort. Tried to call after hr. maintenance number, didn't connect or take a message. That was frustrating, but overall, we had a good time. Cottage is very cute.

Fantastic Beach Option

The Old Love Cottage is exactly as marketed - small, charming, so close to the beach that it cannot be beat. We appreciated the location so much and had a fantastic time. It's definitely a very tight fit for five people given that there is only one real bedroom, and that room is in a different building! However we felt that the description was very thorough and we knew what we were getting into. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is because the cottage needs, and deserves, a little TLC. Given the price point, some upgrades in terms of the stove, washer dryer, outdoor shower, and kitchen items is needed. But, again, the location is the best you will find on Tybee. Walking distance to restaurants and shops, 150 steps to the best, least crowded, beach area on the island, and two parking spaces... Absolutely perfect.

New love for old love

The location was amazing, the beach was less crowded than other spots, the walk to the beach was easy and beautiful. The house is rustic but charming in its own beachy way. The bed in the guest house is a queen not a king. Nice place for a couple as someone else remarked. The AC worked well and in the Georgia heat it was needed. We had a few issues and there was no follow up from the rental agency but some of the issues self resolved so wasn’t a problem. The other issues we didn’t report but the washer does not rinse cycle and the tub drains slow. Not deal breakers for us. For the price and location it is worth the stay.

Old Love cottage

The porch to the bedroom is in bad need of repair. Railing very loose and nails sticking up on was great except for that. It made sleeping arrangements difficult with ac issue.

Tybee Cottage vacation

We loved the location of this adorable cottage. It was nice to follow the path and get right to the beautiful beach and ocean! We rented bikes for a few days which was awesome for getting around. A few things I would like to address are as follows: I wish that nice beach chairs were included with the price of the rental. The chairs there, I’m quite sure have just been passed on from one guest to the next. I was able to pull out 4 but only two were usable. We purchased another chair and we left it there for the next person. The ones there are quite rusty and the leg broke off after one time at the beach. My daughter was also stung by a hornet as there was a small nest right where the chairs were kept. I just feel it’s a small price to pay to supply chairs for far away travelers. The little added guest house is such a nice retreat but the AC does not keep that room cool. Because of the poor AC out there, it would be GREAT to have a bigger fan out there other than a small table top fan that in no way provided any relief. A pedestal fan that oscillates would be a much better way to go. The outside shower was absolutely awesome and we used it daily!! We did enjoy our stay here and would stay again for the location alone. Just a few minor details as I mentioned would make ones stay a much better experience!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in the old Love cottage. Unfortunately, it was not great for families as listed. The third bedroom is an attached building so we were not able to really utilize the space well as a family. Also, you could tell that it was worn from many years of guests. Furniture was stained or unsteady, there was a hole in the bedroom floor, and sheets were stained. The toilet was also very loose and moved when you sat down and the shower curtain was moldy. I understand a beach cottage and beach conditions are not going to equal the most luxurious stay, but these seem to be pretty easy fixes.

We absolutely loved every aspect of the cottage. We had three teen girls and me; with the little cottage out back, we were fine on space, even with one bathroom. Kitchen was well stocked. We loved the location, with a quick 3 minute walk to the beach. Conveniently located to beach, groceries, restaurants, lighthouse etc. We rented bikes and rode them everywhere we went all week - perfect location! My first trip to Tybee, loved the vibe and this cottage would be my "go-to" when I come again. Thank you!
