Great getaway

We enjoyed waking up to the sunrise and watching surfers from our main bedroom. Everything was within walking distance and we enjoyed fun, food and drink.

Management Company would not respond to texts or phone calls to address our concerns or complaints during our stay. We received a how are we doing survey after the first night, answered it, was told someone would contact us soon, that never happened. We stopped at their office after our stay and left a list of complaints, some of which are shown in the attached photos and still have not received a response. Televisions are all streaming services only and no local channels are available, you have to use your own personal passwords to try to connect to the service.The jacuzzi jets in the master bathroom are all covered in mildew, which is extremely nasty not to mention unhealthy. The cleaning of the unit (if you can call it cleaning) leaves much to be desired. Dirty dishes in the cupboard. None of the interior doors lock i.e. bathrooms or bedrooms. We brought an electric fry pan which we cooked our meals in, good that we brought it, the pots and pans in the kitchen were unusable. Many lights not working in the kitchen area. Great location, but this rental is not maintained to make a great vacation.

Oh my gosh! It was just amazing! Very clean and in a PERFECT location! The rental company called me prior stating the dishwasher was broken which was a bummer but no big deal. As we pulled in we were unable to access the codes parking lot. I called the number and within minutes was able to get access. The code just wasn’t updated. I’m sure that would cause some people to leave bad reviews but we’re all human and their promptness to resolve the issue was great! Good customer service is hard to come by now days and they were fantastic! My only major complaint, like others mentioned, was the master bed. You could not breathe without it squeaking. It was awful. Not just a quick, subtle squeak either. Regardless of the bed, I would absolutely stay here over and over again!

Quick beach trip

Staying here was an easy process. From initial inquiry and rental to arrival and access, all was as stated and expected. I did not realize there was a road and parking lot between the condo and the beach. The biggest detractor on this was the street lights and noise after dark. Noise wasn't a huge problem except on Saturday night. Some folks think revving their engine as loud as they can is interesting entertainment for others?! As for the unit itself, impressively clean! And, exactly as pictured and expected, with a few exceptions. The bed in the primary bedroom was terrible. No support at all. The door on the primary bedroom opens onto the living space. Interestingly, the door is a window door with blinds, some of which are broken. Privacy certainly an issue. Between that and the lack of room darkening from any of the blinds, it was too brightly lit for my sleep tastes. Overall, it was lovely time and a very needed break,. For the price and location, I believe it was worth they stay.

Last hurrah for summer

This was a return visit for me. My girlfriends and I, 6 of us, visited last year and had a blast. I brought my family, 4 generations, back this year, for a well needed relaxing trip. The accommodations are excellent, and the ability to unwind and enjoy the beach is wonderful. Oh, and the food is delicious!

Wonderful place to stay for the whole family

The property was clean and very well maintained. We had one minor mechanical issue that we had to call about and it was fixed within a few hours. The location is ideal for spending time on the beach but being close enough to return for a quick bite to eat or bathroom break. I highly recommend the property to anyone with a family.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay on Tybee Island. The beach was beautiful and clean with just a few steps away from our Condo. We stayed at the Sandpiper which was very spacious and clean. Shopping and restaurants are literally right around the corner. We definitely recommend this condo and. Destination!

Our Tybee time

We have traveled to Tybee several times. We love the family friendly beach and local eateries. We had a short walk to the beach and I am not thrilled with crossing the streets but we enjoyed our stay. I was afraid there would be too much noise from Fanny’s but it was not a problem.

After having issues with the garage gat opener not working and getting the wrong door code , everything else has been great . Room is wonderful and clean. King bed could use a foam pad on it , very hard. But still are having a wonderful vacation with my family.

Quick fall get away

Just loved the Sandpiper. The location of this condo is great. You can literally park your car and walk everywhere. The unit faces the ocean. We loved sitting on the balcony and just looking at the ocean. We were lucky for the weather to be warm enough to enjoy our meals out on the balcony. This condo is so roomy. We were a party of 5, but this condo would be perfect for a larger group. The kitchen was well stocked to allow for cooking most meals. The unit had a full size washer and dryer which would be awesome for a longer stay. The tv in the living room was missing the controls, but after a call to agency, they arrived with new controls quickly. This condo also had secure gated parking. We found the unit very cleaned and ready for us to use for the weekend. Hope to be able to stay at the Sandpiper in the future.
