Best Western Malmö Arena Hotel

"Ok , this is not a 5 star hotel, but for value for money is fantastic, close to train station- bus stops , shopping centre, and if you’re lucky a event at the Malmo arena, a good breakfast from English to porridge to a Scandinavian cold cuts , , would use again, especially if I could get a ice hockey match when visiting"

"This is the second Clarion hotel I have stayed in and it is just as good as the other. It’s a very nice hotel is in a good location, central to Malmö and a few minute’s walk from Malmö Central Station. The room was very spacious and clean and has everything you need, including a safe. I didn’t try the breakfast so cannot comment on this. The only staff member I had interactions with was when I checked in; I arrived after 1am due to travel delays and the doors to the hotel were locked and only opened with an access card, which I did not yet have as I hadn’t checked in. There wasn’t any facility to alert the person at the desk that I had arrived so I was trying to find a contact number to call to ask how to enter, at the same time, some other guests had arrived back to the hotel, one of them knocked on the window whilst the other opened the door with his keycard and allowed me to enter. Whilst I was checking in, the person on reception was visibly annoyed that the other guest had knocked on the window. After this, everything was fine. The only thing I will say is that on Sunday, there seemed to be a lot of people checking out (not the hotels fault); there are 4 elevators, but there are around 25 floors so a lot of these were in use and full with suitcases so I had to use the stairs after waiting almost 10 minutes for an elevator, luckily, I was only on the 8th floor, so just something to keep in mind."

"L'hôtel est parfaitement situé, à deux pas de la gare et de la vieille ville. Ma chambre était très petite et j'aurais apprécié une meilleure literie, mais offrait un bon rapport qualité-prix. Le petit-déjeuner était bien et pris dans une magnifique salle très bien aménagée. Un séjour très agréable!"

"We stayed for the weekend and had a fantastic stay. One thing to note, we could hear the music in the bar from our bedroom. If you’re a light sleeper bring earplugs."
