Palm Tree Hotel were a possitive surprise for me, really friendly serviceminded staff, clean rooms and a exellent breakfast buffé, restaurant was clean and I got a Tex Mex buffé that was fresh but since I was late and the last customer I think it had been even better if I had got there earlier in evening, but I can strongly recommend this hotel, with the location downtown, the best

Good hotel

I had an exclusive room. The interior design of the room was very nice and cosy with view to the city. The king size bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. Everything was great except from the tv channels that had a bad connection so it was impossible to watch tv. And I missed a real tea kettle to boil water. There was a coffee machine. The Breakfast was good. And very kind people working in the hotel :)

This was a very nice hotel for us. Parking was a bit of a challenge, as you really need the parking app or you have to use the machine, all in Swedish, to park in the very close parking lot. The woman at the desk in the evening was really nice to help me. The rooms are quite small, but comfortable. Excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. We regret that we didn't stay here a second time before our return ferry trip, as these people were much nicer and more helpful than the other place we stayed. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Central location, close to trains and ferries

I have stayed here before. As I travel without a car I appreciate the central location with walking distance to everything. The room was decent size and well equipped with coffee and a desk. There was no general room light, only desk and bed lights. Rich breakfast with many choices, including hot courses. However, closes at 09:00 on weekdays.

Staff, including Malin and Monika, were helpful, kind and professional. Breakfast was delicious, especially the croissants. So much choice. The location of the hotel is great: a five minute walk to the bus and train station and steps from shops and restaurants. Thank you.

Frukostbuffén höll oerhört hög nivå med avseende på utbudet. Lite märkligt dock att mat även serveras på en hylla ovanför en bänk där det redan står mat. Följden blir att gästerna tvingas hänga in in över maten som står på bänken när de ska plocka mat från hyllan. Men som sagt; utbudet av frukostalternativ är förstklassigt.
