"We really enjoyed our stay. We used the pool and it was lovely. The room we had was very nice and the staff were very friendly. We used the meal van that is on some evenings whilst we stayed and the food was great. Would definitely stay again."

The food in the restaurant was amongst the best I have tasted, however, although very friendly and attentive, the staff in the Restuarant would benefit from more training. "Mat and Wolfie made our stay at the Wellington wonderful! Both were helpful with suggestions for hikes and food. We had long conversations with each. The pub had a nice fire,and Wolfie was kind, hospitable, and intriguing. Mat helped us find the most perfect room as we were walkins arriving just before dinner. He told us stories and laughed and enjoyed our interest in the area. It was definitely one of our most favorite stays in the UK. The hotel is charming and a quintessential UK pub hotel. The food was excellent too! A full five star stay! Thanks Wolfie and Mat!! We will see you again. "
