"Lovely garden, delicious breakfast and very helpful staff"

"Lovely inn on a quiet street just outside the walls of Carcassone. Bit of a steep walk up to the village itself but totally manageable. Comfortable room, nice bathroom, helpful staff, wonderful breakfast. Several restaurants within a few meters walk of the hotel. There is access to a small roof terrace which has an amazing view of Carcassone. Very happy with our stay. "

"This beautiful Bastide is worth a visit and as it’s also small, staying at the L’Hotel de Cité was an oasis all in itself. I would go back just to stay at the hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Someone quickly appeared when we parked as it was unusually hot to pick us up and whisk us to the hotel without us even requesting it. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to this person as we had our small frenchie with us and they do not do well in the heat. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous with wonderful gardens and lounge areas. The spa looked nice (will need to book that next time too) and the onsite restaurant was a nice added perk although you can walk the entire village quite easily with many options for food. The boulangerie right next door has the best ever chocolatines (also worth going back for). I would highly recommend a stay here. "

"Fab hotel, 10 min walk to Carcassonne Le Cite, warm friendly staff, excellent facilities, nice restaurant, outdoor pool with pool bar, food and drink priced at around the same as Le Cite, i would definitely stay here again."

"Make sure to book a city view room. Our 3rd floor corner room was spacious with two double beds, a bath and separate shower and most importantly stunning views across the Aude of the Pont Vieux and the old city. We stayed two nights with breakfast included. Breakfast had a good selection including champagne, much to my wife’s delight, and you could have it in the air conditioned breakfast/restaurant or on the terrace. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay but would reiterate that the view from the balcony was a major factor in our enjoyment. If it’s the same for you make sure to book a city view room. "

"Everyone was so nice and friendly. Pool was so nice and refreshing since it was practically 100 degrees f. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was easy and very good. We were glad too since up in the Cité there's no AC and all outdoor seating. Rooms very clean! And the included breakfast with the fresh OJ machine is so yummy! Private safe parking with lots of shade a plus too!!"

"Loved this hotel- perfect location, helpful friendly staff, clean, lovely gardens and pool and comfy bed. Bar snacks a bit disappointing but that was only downside. "
