We had a wonderful 3 night stay in a comfortable room. We liked having a relaxing swim on the infinity pool at the end of each day after exploring the Douro. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and 4 course dinners that were cooked from the heart :)

Stunning property, spacious rooms, very clean and comfortable. We were met by John who took excellent care of us but the other members of staff were just as helpful. The restaurant on site was not only convenient but served a tasty dinner and brekky. The weather was perfect and the pool highly enjoyable, overlooking tbe douro valley/river. I would recommend a bottle of wine while you're swimming. I would love to return here one day.

Calm and quiet environment.
Our 2 bedroom cottage is absolutely beautiful. It has everything you needed. Very thoughtful in all arrangement. Lovely place to stay in. Sad that we only stayed for one night. Should stay at 2 or more nights to enjoy the tranquillity of the environment.

Staying at the Casa Doña Edite Guesthouse is an amazing experience. It is a 15 minute drive from Pinhão but truly worth it.
Our room was very clean and comfortable and I think the pool view rooms may be best. Bathrooms are large with an excellent shower. A sitting common area is available for use if required. The entire building is near new and aesthetically pleasing. Breakfast was a nice selection and don’t miss out on the homemade jams and cakes. They are delicious.
