Great place for an overnight stop if you're travelling to the south-west of France or into Spain or in the other direction back to the ferries/tunnel. Stayed here over four time already and will be back. Excellent breakfast, but no evening restaurant. If required, it's easy to eat next door at the Mercure, only five minutes walk. Very good value for money.

Good for one night stopovers

This is a good stopover hotel in a convenient location. The room is small and basic. You get a bed, single pillows, tv, small desk with a stool, shower cubicle with separate wc, sink is in the room. There are absolutely no frills like a lock on the toilet door or a kettle. For the money it is fine and comfortable enough. You can buy coffee and snacks from vending machines as well as basic toileteries. Eating options are limited. The hotel has no restaurant but had an order point for food deliveries such as pizza if you want to eat in your room. There is a restaurant in the Mercure next door but the nearest outside restaurants had limited opening hours. There were a few options at the next roundabout, 2 mins by car or 20 minute walk, including Poivre Rouge (very good), an asian buffet, and a KFC. The staff were excellent and friendly.

Lovely one night stay with my dog, Betsy. The member of staff made us really welcome. Minor point - there was quite a lot of noise in our room. Maybe air conditioning. I couldn’t see any way of turning it off. Also 4th floor was a bit of a struggle with the dog and luggage. Etsy is a border collie and has never been in a lift!
