"Great complex, stayed a few times now and is my go to apartment complex. Great staff at reception and they offer luggage storage and shower facilities outwith your checkout. Meant I enjoyed my last day walking around until heading to airport. B206 was lovely 2 bedroom apartment looking on to the side street so away from the bars. Sun was hitting the balcony in July and was there all day. Comfortable cushioned sun loungers too. Location is great too. Short walk to san eugenio in one direction or short walk to fanabe the other. Plenty of bars n food places in and around Torviscas too. Easy to recommend sunset bay."

Gara Suites Golf & SPA

"We stayed in a two-bedroom suite at Gara Suites. The hotel offers good value for money, but overall I feel it is closer to a 3-star hotel than the 4 stars it advertises. The suite was spacious, but it only had one bathroom. The room description also stated a golf course view, but our balcony overlooked a construction site. From around 8–9am every morning there was loud construction noise, and dust covered our balcony and clothes. We also expected a kitchen, but there wasn’t one. There were no tea or coffee facilities, only one bottle of water, and we had to request a kettle from reception. The housekeeping staff were excellent, especially the gentleman cleaning Block 4 on the third floor. He was always friendly, polite and kept our room spotless every day. Breakfast had a good selection and was enjoyable. The biggest disappointment was the seafood buffet. We paid before entering as instructed, but while dining another staff member asked for our room number and wrote it down. The next morning, another employee wrongly claimed we hadn’t paid. Thankfully I had kept my receipt. This showed a serious lack of communication between staff, which was frustrating and embarrassing. The spa was relaxing, but it required an extra charge despite the hotel promoting itself as a Golf & Spa resort. The pool was pleasant but quite small with very limited shade. The location is also far from the town centre, we had to rely on taxis throughout our stay. A shuttle bus would make a difference"

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Una estancia fantástica. He disfrutado muchísimo en el hotel, todo ha estado perfecto desde el primer momento. El trato del personal ha sido excelente, las instalaciones estaban muy cuidadas y mejoradas. He hecho algunas peticiones para mi estancia y todas se han cumplido, Gracias He quedado especialmente sorprendido porque han mejorado mucho desde la última vez que estuve. Se nota el esfuerzo por ofrecer una experiencia mucho mejor, con mejoras importantes que hacen que la estancia sea todavía más cómoda y agradable. Sin duda, ha sido una experiencia para repetir. Me voy muy satisfecho y con ganas de volver. ¡Enhorabuena por el gran trabajo!"

"We've just returned after 9 days at Wyndham Residencies and my wife and I have had a fabulous break. The hotel is excellent with great facilities, clean and the staff were excellent. We loved it so much, we've looked to book for next year. I would say this hotel isn't suitable for everyone as it is located at the top of a steep hill and will be difficult for people who struggle walking, but I can't fault the actual hotel itself."
