"Reception staff - good easy check in and out. Hotel - very big (looks like one of the biggest in the area) there are lifts to get you from floor to floor, but there is quite a lot of walking from place to place. This is big old hotel, very well established and seems to have a number of repeat loyal guests.Bar/ Cleaning/Entertainment Restaurant staff -10/10.The facilities and public spaces are well maintained 9/10. Lots of spots dotted about to relax/read/play games etc. Hotel corridors 3/10 desperately need refurbishment, dirty looking carpet tiles, damaged skirting boards, paint coming off.(let the hotle down ...looks like a run down 3 star hotel) Bedroom condition 2/10 Like an old poor 3 star hotel. Not what you would expect when you pay for a 4 star experience. Scuffed floor, paint scuffed, peeling laminate of the units and skirting boards. We wondered of we had been given a bed room but when I expressed my concerns I was offered 2 other rooms but they were equally as rough and indeed of repair. The condition of our room didn't reflect the 4 star price we paid. Beds/mattress ok 7/10 Bedding 5/10 Soundproofing-5/10 Blackout curtains 6/10 Shower 10/10 Room towels 2/10 Water filling stations - 10/10 Food: 8/10 good buffet style food, lots of choice,some vegan/gluten All inclusive snack 10/10 bar open from Gym- 8/10 Fitness activities 10/10 - 10/10 -2 good-sized pools one more for kids. Good location 10/10 "

"Room was great. Very clean. Paid for a double, got a twin with beds pushed together. NOT GOOD! We were charged €1 for four cubes of ice at the bar. Never been charged for ice ever at a hotel. Reception was always crowded and understaffed. Staff apart from Angel were rude and sarcastic if and when you got to talk to them. Breakfast was quite good. Omelette bar was very nice. Decent food throughout. The bacon was reconstituted bacon loaf cut into slices. Not disgusting, it’s bacon; but not as you know it. Real bacon would be far better and they claim to be a four star hotel. Real bacon would be more fitting at a four star hotel. No amenities around the hotel. One local shop didn’t sell drinks, only water and it’s very over priced. Rather than be ripped off, I bought anything I needed through a delivery app. Pool was nice. Pool area nice and clean. I think later in the year you would have sun-bed wars!!"

"Vanilla Garden Boutique Hotel was a great place to stay in Tenerife. The location is excellent—close to the beach and the nightlife, but still quiet and relaxing. The food was delicious throughout our stay, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The room itself was okay—comfortable enough, though not the highlight of the stay. Overall, it’s a very nice hotel if you’re looking for a convenient, calm place within walking distance of everything."

"Lovely hotel experience, very premium experience in a nice location. The breakfast was well worth it and the pool area had plenty of seating (though I'd still recommend going early to get seats). The spa was also very worth the price. My main concern is that the Preferred Club breakfast was not worth the extra cost. The breakfast in the main area was better than the a la carte option. Though the nice part of the preferred club was the separate cabanas and afternoon snacks/booze. I would stay here again, staff made everything possible to give us a good experience. Letting us stay extra hours because of our flight being later in day"

"We had a see / pool view. The hotel was said to be 4 star. Was more like a 2 star. I have travelled to most countries and this hotel was the most disappointing. Very dated. Broken tiles everywhere. The bath un usable. Lime scale thick in bath .urine stains at the base of the toilet. Wood in room very chipped. Dirt mostly around the edges of the floor. No fly screen on the patio doors. Fridge was very rusty. I was bitten quite badly the first night.second night the same pulled back sheets and found bugs in the bed . I did take pics of them.the staff were willing to listen and help. But the damage was done the bites l had received in the bed were infected so needed treatment right away ended cutting my holiday short and leaving the hotel early so l could get back to Scotland and get medical advice.
