"Glamorous hotel, faded in places and could do with a little refurb in the bedroom corridors and around the pool, but we had a lovely stay, the facilities are great and our room was well-appointed. Great location, right next to the station and lovely view of Torquay. We will definitely return."

"Awesome experience from start to finish! From the very warm and friendly start as we arrived into the Carpark through to the polished 5* full English breakfast, the bank holiday weekend break to Torquay was made into an amazing holiday by our hosts! Our room to top it off had a full panoramic view of the Torquay end of season Fireworks …. which btw rivals London New Years Eve display! Highly recommended stay for families AAA! Also very helpful to have a full size fridge to keep whatever you want cold in the breakfast room! Great job THE BRANTWOOD! "

"Amazing facilites. Plenty for the kids to do. Really clean with friendly staff. Only minor complaint i have is the wait for drinks at the main bar. Highly recommend for a family break "

"This hotel was a great find in Torquay. 10min walk from the Harbour/ Beach although note to others it’s up a steep hill. The spa was fantastic and even better within the price of room, you are given towels, bath robes and flip flops to use which was a lovely touch. Ladies - not only are there hair dryers but hair straighteners in the spa changing room! We didn’t eat at the Hotel so can’t advise but the tea/coffee tray has an endless selection of herbs teas, coffee and hot chocolate. Our room was on the ground floor by the roadside and you couldn’t hear anyone so lovely and quiet. Will definitely return when we have a night free from the kids!"

"As always excellent..fab location for harbour and station ,relaxed breakfast area and so nice to see so many people with well behaved dogs able to enjoy a stay..dont let a pet friendly hotel put you off,it is immaculately clean and there are 2 areas at breakfast 1 pet friendly, all round excellent consistent accommodation. "
