The stay was not at all what we expected. The room was private, but the rest of the accommodations were shared and not well kept. We ended up leaving a night early and opting for a better deal on a nice hotel actually in the city. Next time we'll do better research.

The place was definitely worth the price. Parking was free and amenities listed were accurate. Saw a couple of bad reviews which had me thinking but my experience was positive. Will return whenever I can.

I was grateful to find assortments in my room after a long trip down to Toronto. I also like that they provide with breakfast items and you can prepare breakfast yourself. Very good location

This was a great place to stay for the weekend. If you're aware of the possibility of other people being there it's really not a problem. The owners provided coffee, breakfast items, and were quick to reply. Only a 20 min drive from Toronto too.

Safe quiet stay

Beautiful home in quiet and safe neighborhood. The host was very accommodating. There were bottles of water and chocolates and candies in the room for us, and flip flops to walk around. Everything was very nice and very comfortable. This was a great stay and I look forward to booking here in the future. If you're on the fence, this is definitely the spot for you.

Shared bathroom was not mentioned in listing I read from. Saw it mentioned at line 63 in another listing. It's a basement with several bedrooms and a shared bathroom and shared kitchen. Breakfast is included if you cook it!!

You get what you pay for. The shared bathroom was outdated and small with no extras. The room was an add-on in basement of the house with no window and low ceiling. Furniture was shabby. The bed was clean and comfortable.

Accom is 3 or 4 , windowed basement rms, sharing bath / kitchen. Basic, help yourself brkfast fare. Adequate kitchen but wierdly no drinking vessels so I used bowls. I had the large room at garden end. Very well appointed. Never caused me a problem but you could hear a few sounds from the owner's home, above. Free street pking but beware time restrictions to left of house. Easy bus then train to downtown. Easy drive to swim at Kew Beach and the cafe soceity on the main rd "above" it. Bit further to swim at Cherry Beach (free pking). BEST - Access to Taylor Creek Trail is less than 5 min jog / 1 min pedal away. With all sorts of branches - trails and suburban. Oddity / NB bathrm space is dominated by a nice counter top sink but on a totally inappropriately sized base. The base impedes into the doorway and ,though slim and only 5'10" , even I had to sit sideways on the loo to avoid it.Could easily be trimmed down as sink itself fits fine. NB2 - my "yes" to patio refers to free use of rear garden

This was a bright, clean, cheerful room in the basement of a bungalow, with lots of light and a shared bathroom with two other rooms. It was perfect for a single traveller for a night or two. I didn’t have a chance to use the shared kitchenette but did enjoy the treats left in the room by the host. It’s in a quiet residential neighbourhood and about a 15 - 20 minute walk to Danforth Ave, so you aren’t in the middle of downtown but definitely not out in the boonies.
