"We had an amazing stay! The view over Pittwater is breathtaking, and the house is spacious, clean and well presented. Shelly, the host, went above and beyond for our large group—she arranged an extra queen air mattress in the master bedroom for the kids and provided additional sheets and towels.We brought our own paddle boards and kayak, but Shelly also offers kayaks for guests to use at the private beach. The beach is stunning—quiet and peaceful. We had it all to ourselves!The kitchen is very well equipped with a large fridge, freezer, pod coffee machine, and appliances like an air fryer. We cooked most meals and had everything we needed. A few extra hand towels, tea towels, and oven mitts would be helpful.Bathrooms were spotless and stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The master bathroom is a highlight, with an incredible view from the bath. All the Bedrooms were clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned.The laundry has a washer, dryer, ironing board and bench, though a hanging rail would be useful for items that can’t go in the dryer. The only minor downside to this property was a strong septic smell on one side of the house, occasionally noticeable on the back deck.Overall, this is a beautiful and unique property—perfect for families looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature. "Simple but modern recently renovated room. Parking is tight (physically) but we arrived in between check out and check in times so whoever couldn’t access our room as we were too early , we got a space. Recommend doing this as parking tricky in area at weekends Good value overall"

"We loved our stay this weekend. It was only a short stay as we were attending a family event but really enjoyed our time in the cottage. The cottage was very clean, extremely well equipped and comfortable. We were three generations and the cottage suited us allBeautiful location very close to the water and easy access to the beach so enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the boatsIt was very hot while we stayed and did find the cottage very warm but this did not spoil our weekend Thank you to the owners for allowing us to stay and create some memories "

"Stair access was shown on the website as only one flight from the street entrance. From the carpark this would involve many more stairs - not made clear. There is an extra flight of stairs within the actual building not mentioned on the website.Heating was totally inadequate - two small Dysons for a large uncarpeted living space were not efficient at all and limited power points in the living room area only made it more difficult. The place gets no sun at all so even colder. Beds - linen was clean but beds poorly made - doona cover in one room had no fasteners. Spare doonas were not covered. Kitchen and laundry frig and microwave, stove, dishwasher etc were good but dinner ware really cheap and not matching. Bethrooms good - showers excellent. We left a night early as so cold - and we did have warm clothing with us. 3pm check in and 10am checkout made this a very pricey stay for basically less than 36 hours. Australia needs to do better qualitatively. Or - are landlords so cynical that attention to detail isn't that important."
