"Nice house in an ideal location to enjoy the local area. We stayed for a week and the location was great for a some exellent walking, cycling and relaxing. The house is well equipped, warm, comfortable and clean, it has the added bonuis of a lockable outhouse which was good for storing bikes. Grantown is just along the road with a good range of shops, cafes and other facilities. Aviemore slighly further afield for a larger shops and amenties. Overall a throughouly enjoyable stay and...

"This cottage was perfect for our stay. The cleanliness and quality of all the rooms meant it was extremely comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy and friendly. There was some nice personal touches as well, such as a welcome pack on arrival. The location was ideal, Ballater is beautiful and has great walks straight out the door of the cottage and there is a good variety of food and drink in the town which were all very good quality. "We had a great stay at Dalnagar. Brilliant location and well equipped house. The house had a really good socialising space. The only minor niggle was not enough towels for us all (wasn't a problem as we brought a couple with us) and there wasn't enough hot water. We tried to use the Boost but we couldn't as the heating programme was on. Nevertheless it did not detract from our stay and we would still recommend this property."

"This wonderful cozy cottage was the perfect location for our highland adventures. Easy to find, but out of the way! The home is nicely laid out. As Americans, use appliances,outlets, etc. differently . it would have been helpful to have critical switches labeled. For example we inadvertently turned off the kitchen refrigerator by turning its switch off. This switch was located along the wall, above the counter in the same places the light switched were located."
