"If you ever find yourself close to Crawford, CO, you must stay at the Hitching Post! It is the very definition of charming. Sweet accommodates, comfortable beds, and delicious hometown eats. We loved our stay and you will too!"

"I reserved two rooms here, one for myself and another for family. Both were obviously newly renovated, very clean and in good condition. However, my parents' room on the first floor had a strong musty odor. The room had all hard floors; maybe it was a pet friendly room? I couldn't tell exactly what the smell was from, but it was unpleasant. My room on the second floor was fine-- no smell at all. I'm unsure what the issue was with the first floor room, but would definitely recommend requesting the 2nd floor! Also--there was no working elevator during my stay. It was being renovated, so will likely be available in the near future, but something to note for those who need an elevator to access the second floor. "

"The house is located in a secluded quiet area which we really liked. It had everything we needed for our week long stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great (there was also a lot of extra towels which was nice!). The house had a great flow to it with nice comfortable living room furniture. Kitchen chairs and table were comfortable as well (we played a lot of games in the evening at the table). The front porch was really nice, but unfortunately for us it was really hot the week we were there, so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. We had a few issues when we got there, but Tamara was great, and worked hard to solve the problems in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again as the home and host were excellent. "
