"The hotel is very convenient to the train station, and provides a welcoming atmosphere. Staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. The hotel provides multiple vending machines for your convenience which is nice because the nearest 7/11 I could find was about a 10 minute walk. Getting near the port is also easy enough, it's about a 20 minute walk to the downtown area and some good restaurants. "

"It was as if taking a step back in time. Drifting off to sleep in a dark room with the snow falling through the positioned sliding windows as to not see any of the surrounding modern day buildings, was a marvellous experience that I shall treasure forever. Great amenities, a karoke room, natural onsens, a library and not to mention both a wonderful supper and breakfast, not to mention buffet style. My only regret is not booking another night! "It has a shuttle service from the Sendai station to the hotel. Great view from room and Onsen. The decor is slightly dated but in good shape. I would visit again!"

"Very lovely older small onsen. Japanese style room was lovely. Futon was a bit old, thin, and firm, far from my first but noticable. Make sure to book dinner, its a walk to other options. Onsen was lovely."
