The best area to stay in Tomares is the central district around the Parque Olivar del Zaudín, offering a blend of local life and convenient access to amenities.

This area is generally considered the heart of Tomares, providing a good balance between residential comfort and local facilities. You'll find a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants along main arteries like Calle Tomás Ybarra and Calle Clara Campoamor, which are easily walkable. The Parque Olivar del Zaudín itself is a large, pleasant green space superb for an afternoon stroll.

For families, this central area is particularly appealing. It offers easy access to local parks and playgrounds, as well as essential services like supermarkets and pharmacies. The relaxed pace of life here is ideal for those travelling with children, allowing for a comfortable and convenient stay without the hustle and bustle of a larger city.

Couples looking for a relaxed base from which to explore Andalusia will also appreciate this location. It provides a more authentic Spanish experience away from the main tourist hubs, with local eateries and a chance to experience daily life.

The best time to go to Tomares is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

These periods offer pleasant weather, with warm but not excessively hot temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the local area and enjoying outdoor activities. Spring sees the countryside in full bloom, offering beautiful scenery, while autumn provides comfortable temperatures without the intense heat of summer.

For those looking to experience local festivals and events, spring is particularly good. Tomares, being very close to Seville, benefits from the city's famous Semana Santa (Holy Week) and Feria de Abril (April Fair), which are major cultural highlights. Staying in Tomares during these times allows you to easily access these events while retreating to a more relaxed setting.
