We really enjoyed our stay at the Yacht House. Proximity to both Chesterman Beach, the coffee shop at the Wik being 10 minutes down the beach, and the restaurants (Tacofino, Chocolate Tofino, etc) across the road, the hot tub, etc... everything was great. Chris and Karen were excellent hosts, and very helpful with any help we needed.
Ideal location on the Chesterman beach, walking distance to surf shops and short drive into Tofino. Very good taco truck at Tacofino nearby. Recommend staying here.
We had a great time there. The house is in a great part of Tofino, just 10min easy drive into town and right out the back you can walk right onto Chesterman beach which was perfect. Well worth staying there.
the property is wonderful, the hot tub was fantastic, the beach access is perfect and the sitting area at the beach access is just the best !! If you wander the beach just remember to look for the three distinct chimneys when you return ha ha
This place is in the absolute perfect spot in Tofino. Its a lovely place to be as you are right on the beach AND a nice walk, hike from everywhere. LOVED IT.
Thanks guys
The pictures of this house don't do it justice. It's a custom house that brings the nature inside with great lighting and thoughtful design. Comfy beds and everything we needed for a great stay
Even better than the photos! Beach is less than a minute away. Went surfing everyday with the kids. The hot tub was a perfect touch. My 80 year old dad had a relaxing time as well, enjoyed the beach walks. Would totally comeback every year. Host was more than amazing. We all had the best time ever!
My husband and I, and our three kids (6, 8, 10) enjoyed our stay at this cottage tremendously. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The proximity to Chesterton Beach was exceptional and the hot tub perfect for a warm up after some breezy beach days. It was a bit of a squeeze in the living room and kitchen (as represented), so we minimized the cooking on this vacation; but there were plenty of comfortable beds, everything was functional and well appointed -- it was exactly what we had hoped for. The proximity to the best beach in Tofino, easy parking and quick drive to town were fantastic.
Our group of five college roommates, all now in our 70s stayed here for five nights. Upon arrival, a few things were not working, but our call to the manager was answered quickly and everything was fixed within an hour. We were unable to use the upper bunk beds, so had to share, but found the space delightful and close to many opportunities to hike and explore.
What an amazing property. The guest house was as described. The house was unique and provided each of our kids with their own room — complete with bunk beds in each. The home is older so expect some minor wear and tear in some spots. The property owner was highly responsive to questions. Our favorite was private/direct access to the beach. A morning swim followed with some body boarding became the trip ritual. Would not hesitate to come back.

Location is amazing just by the beach.
The kitchen needs some work. The main door under the sink doesn’t close and the dishwasher doesn’t work well. There is no table inside. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean, but there was some dirt in the living room.
Parking was great. Good communication for all questions.
This place is amazing! You simply cannot beat the location - ocean front and just a 10 minute walk to Tacofino. The hot tub was great. The unit was clean and it worked for our group (2 couples). Yacht House is a fitting name in that every square inch of the place has been utilized. The master bedroom has stunning peek-a-boo views of the ocean. The two other rooms each have a bunk bed. We're in our 50's, so climbing in and out of the bunk bed wasn't the easiest, but that was about our only issue. This place would be ideal for a couple with young kids. I hope we get the opportunity to stay here again some day. Sunsets from the adirondack chairs were incredible!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication
The location is wonderful and the bedrooms are great, comfortable, and quiet. The living room and kitchen are cold and not very comfortable. The patio doors don't open to the outdoor dining area, making it hard to use. While all is there, it's not worth 1K a night we spent in high season. The ADU is connected to an older luxury home, and we felt like second-class citizens as they didn't greet us upon arrival and made sure all worked properly in the kitchen. The binder has outdated directions and wifi login/pw was hard to find. Calling the contact number the manager is not the friendliest, but he helped with insistence on what we needed. The kitchen is very small with very basic tools for cooking. The overall feel of the stay was not as great as the very narrow pathway against the long fence and the Large luxury home is kind of improvised. There could be more effort to provide dignity. No view from he hot tub but the sky is nice. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean. The view you see at the top image with chairs at the beach is not what you will get and this spot is sweet one you make the trek there. Our arrival was full of desapoitnment but we made the best out of it. Even given the prime spot, it's hard to give more then 3 stars overall.
Perfect location, steps to the beautiful Chesterman Beach. We wowed some visiting family. Our three year old loved playing in the sand and collecting kelp!
The Yacht House location can’t be beat! Access to the beach and suite itself was quick and convenient. The guest house was immaculate, well stocked and very comfortable for the three of us. Thank you for a fabulous stay!
