Welcome to Carolyn’s Cottage on the Lake! This is a beautiful fully furnished 3 BR, recently updated four season home on the north end of Lake George in historical Ticonderoga. Bring your boat and enjoy spending time on the crystal clear waters swimming, fishing, water skiing or just cruising around. (Boat dock included with rental.) Nice quiet location and gorgeous views from the large deck to enjoy your morning coffee and family cookouts. We highly encourage repeat guests.

Beautiful and comfortable lake front stay

An absolute gem of a home in an ideal lake front location. We enjoyed days out on the lake with kayaks, a canoe and life jackets provided. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and we enjoyed having breakfast on the beautiful back porch overlooking Lake George. We really hope to return next year for our annual trip.

Right on the lake!!

The house was super clean and had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Bonus finished basement with huge couch and tv. Perfect spot for teenagers, while adults can enjoy the main living room. The spot on the lake was great. Quiet area, boat launch very close, very easy access to beautiful Lake George. Cook Mountain Preserve hiking trails within a mile of house, great views!! Host is very responsive if you need anything.

Another great stay

Stayed here multiple times with family and friends and always have a great time. Erin is always very responsive if anything is needed, and the neighbors are like the friends you’ve known for years. Looking forward to going back next year!

Cottage Comfort

Wonderful stay at Carolyn’s Cottage. House was spotless on arrival and beautifully decorated. Comfy beds, nice towels and linens. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could want. The deck off the family room has nice furniture for outdoor dining and a great grill. The star of the show was the beautiful yard and lakefront. Great views and sunrises. The Adirondack chairs and fire pit were lovely for morning coffee and evening wine. Also super convenient to town if you find you need to shop or go out to eat. Thanks Erin for the wonderful hospitality!

Nice get away spot.

Very clean and well kept home. Kitchen has plenty of pots and pans and plates etc for making meals. The back deck was lovely and hasa nice swing and comfortable chairs and a large table. Great spot to vacation!.lwasmucky bu

Beautiful inside and out

What a fabulous vacation home!!! It was clean, inviting & had everything we needed for our week away. The view outside was like a postcard - only better. It was easy to find with plenty of parking for a truck and a trailer. The host was very easy to contact & she was always available. The neighbors were wonderful as well. You will love it here!!!

Beautiful and Relaxing Vacation!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful lakeside get away. The house is perfect with comfy bedrooms, well furnished kitchen, and a great water view deck with swing (my favorite!) dining table and chairs, and cool breezes where we enjoyed our morning coffee and afternoon glass of wine! Lots to see and do nearby or just spend time kayaking and playing in the lake. Erin is a wonderful host and very easy to communicate with. Five stars for sure!

Lake retreat

The property was very clean and as exactly as pictured and described in the listing. It's a very quiet area on the lake especially because it's in a no wake zone. The water was crystal clear. We used the kayaks daily, did tons of fishing and also used our own paddle boards on the lake. We also enjoyed hiking nearby trails and fishing the La Chute river.

Great place!

Great place to stay! The neighborhood and section of the lake is quiet. There are neighbors but they were very nice! Property is very clean and is well maintained. Furniture is comfortable.The Wifi worked well and it was nice having some basic cable channels and TVs in each of the bedrooms. It was convenient to have enough kayaks for the family at the property so we didn't have to bring our own. Grill and appliances all worked well. We enjoyed a long weekend and would definitely return!

Outstanding stay!

We’ve stayed in many rentals - this was by far the most immaculate! The house was super clean, the linens freshly laundered. Tons of water toys, ample parking for multiple cars and boat trailer. Great fishing for the kiddos. Boat dock nicely fit our 21ft bow rider. The AC in each bedroom ( although not used ) was a nice treat for hot days. Loved the TLC touches and learning about Carolyn. Erin was great to communicate with and check in was smooth and easy. we hope to be back in 2025!

Relaxing Retreat

This house exceeded our expectations. We were two couples in our 30s looking to relax for a long weekend on the lake. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. It’s in a beautiful and peaceful location on Lake George. We took advantage of the kayaks and canoes, spending lots of time out on the water. The neighbors are so friendly, it was a treat to feel so welcomed. Erin was super responsive and very easy to communicate with. We would love to come back here as it was one of our favorite trips to date. Thank you for opening your family home, Erin!

Perfect lake getaway

Our family of 4 absolutely loved our stay at Carolyn's cottage. Super quiet lake front location that we thoroughly enjoyed. The neighbors were super friendly and even let our kids use some of their water toys. Air conditioning worked great in the bedrooms. Loved the extra space and bathroom in the basement. We enjoyed a fire pit one night, got the wood a couple mins down the road for $5 a bundle. We had fun fishing off the dock, caught a few blue gill that we threw back. The water is shallow and clear but bottom is sludge. Didn't bother us at all. Took 2 day trips to Lake George (about an hour drive) and enjoyed 2 days at the house and touring Ticonderoga. Fort Ticonderoga was fun and educational for adults and kids. Super Walmart super close for anything you need. We enjoyed breakfast at Hot Biscuit diner and the atmosphere at Burleigh's Luncheonette was great. There's a cute gift shop a few steps away that we loved, lots of unique apparel and souvenirs. Delivery from House of Pizza was great too...the pickle pizza is surprisingly good! Would absolutely return here again!

Perfect family getaway!! The house was just as described, with more than enough room for the 4 of us. Lake was beautiful and so easy to access. The canoes and kayaks were easy to get to and a fun way to spend several hours. In the evenings we enjoyed a campfire looking out at the water

I highly recommend this rental. This part of the lake is very peaceful and so is the neighborhood. The rental is great, from the deck with the swing to the super comfy bed, everything was perfect. Our senior dog especially loved having another dog next door to watch from the deck. Friendly neighbors as well. This trip was just my husband and I with the dog but this rental is suitable for a family as well.
