Initially, we were bombarded with numerous emails about our check-in details needing to be provided (which had already been provided via Stayz) or we would be charged a substantial additional fee. Then despite paying an additional fee for our third child (2 x adults and 3 x children), the unit was set up as 2 x double beds. I emailed and called a number of times to rectify this but no-one bothered to return my calls/emails. The day we were meant to commence our stay was the day that the bushfires started in the national park and the authorities had started evacuating people and the roads where then closed. When I expressed my concern to the owner/property manager, he emailed me to tell me what a beautiful day it was in Thredbo and that we should definitely still come. A totally self-serving and dangerous communication. He hasn't bothered to keep us updated on anything since.
