"The property is a wonderful grade II listed building with oodles of character. The breakfast room is exquisitely decorated with busts of famous peots in which you can eat a sumptuous cooked full english breakfast. The property is wonderfully peaceful and the beds as beautifully soft and comfortable.
If you are looking for a modern sparse hotel then this is not it, and you should look elsewhere. If you like a wonderful property with bags of history to it then you are in luck!"

"The property was very well kept and I was greeted warmly upon arrival. My room was a great size and well furnished, with a sizable bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and they were able to cater for gluten free. "

" Clean friendly relaxed attentive staff. Super comfy bed. Great food. However, the chef was unexpectedly off 2 days running, so no cooked breakfast. Also the furniture in the room needs a bit of TLC and a bigger mirror on the tea table would look better. "

"Really sweet accommodation! We stayed here after a full day out at Longleat safari park with the kids which was just 20mins away & very easy to get to. Kids were very excited to be overlooking the field with the wonderful big window which allowed us to see lots of deers running & playing in the morning, pheasants, and the nearby farms cows. We also visited during the Longleat 'icons of the sky' event and were fortunate to see all the hot air balloons floating across the field too from the Annex in the morning (which we'd actually missed the day before due to bad weather).
We had a lovely stay, it was exactly what we were looking for, and had everything we needed. Also had a great brunch 10mins away at a local garden center."
"Stayed in the cottage which was a good surprise. Had a self containing kitchen & outside space to enjoy . Food was excellent although had uk wait a few while"
