"Unfortunately we had to get there early as the contact number on the website is no longer use. Half the building was cold the pool was not open as being renovated the gym also not open or the sauna . The room was so small should have been a single . The 2 staff we saw was lovely and very kind . The place didn’t look ready for any guests . We ended up going home ."

"Lavender Cottage is the perfect home away from home. We had a wonderful weekend there, with trips into Bradford upon Avon a nice 15 minute walk away and into Bath using the very convenient train station in Bradford upon Avon.
The house was comfortable, beautifully decorated and so well appointed the kitchen had everything we needed from cooking breakfast feasts to cheese and nibbles, they even had champagne flutes!
Only wish we had stayed for longer!"

"Amazing attention to detail in our room. Quality fixtures and fittings. Very clean and comfy. Genuinely one of if not the best B&B I’ve stayed in. Great location for a lovely canal walk into Bradford on Avon. Staff were lovely and local knowledge invaluable. Will definitely be returning for another stay."

"Teresa was a great communicative host . Arrival and check in was easy and straightforward. The bedrooms were gorgeous and the beds very comfy . The only downside was having just one loo , especially for the person in the studio room but we managed ! "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Cow Byre 1 — it surpassed our expectations. The accommodation felt homely with lots of thoughtful touches, and you can really see the care that’s gone into both the property and the grounds. Our son especially loved the games room and used it every day.
It was quiet, in a great location, and we still felt a real sense of space and privacy even though it seemed fully booked. We felt it was very good value for money.
The hosts were fantastic — nothing was too much trouble. We’d happily recommend to family and friends."

"A wonderful little house in a charming area of Bradford-on-Avon a short walk to the lovely town centre. It’s very spacious with a well stocked kitchen and sweet living room. We particularly enjoyed the gas fired stove. We also appreciated the welcome basket and milk in the fridge. Our host was very easy to communicate with and allowed us an early check in which was very kind. "
