"Lovely building, rooms and staff (particularly AF). Well situated on the beach, great kids pool, and kids club. But the food… worst I’ve had in Thailand by a long shot. We had better food cooked by 2 old ladies on a boat trip. Huge queues for breakfast. 2 restaurants and one cafe, all with the same menu. Extremely ordinary steaks or burgers, less than ordinary pasta and pizza, dreadful Thai food. No other options readily accessible."

"Multiple maintenance issues throughout our stay for my wife's 50th birthday. Day 1: Broken USB socket (only power source on one side of bed), broken drawer runners in wardrobe, and loose toilet roll holder. Reported issues, waited 15 mins for maintenance. Day 2: Despite telling reception at 6:30am we'd be out all day, returned to find room uncleaned and nothing repaired. They blamed a door button that was never explained to us at check-in. Poor coordination between reception, maintenance and housekeeping. Day 3: Drawers fixed but toilet roll holder still broken. Received apology cakes but insufficient for £385/night at a 5-star property. Basic room maintenance should have been completed before check-in. Disappointing experience for a milestone celebration."

"The staff are amazing - so friendly, helpful and professional! The rooms are bright and comfortable, however, there is nothing Thai about them - not a single ornament or picture. The grounds are huge with plenty of shade but sadly the pool is too small and extremely noisy (lots of children) for the number of guests, which is the biggest disappointment. "
