"I would throughly recommend this hotel. The room was spotless on arrival and kept amazingly clean by Kanjanee, the house keeper. The swim up room was excellent and we enjoyed several relaxing days with the pool literally at the doorstep. The breakfasts were good with something for everyone and the hotel is conveniently located a 5 minute walk from the beach and a few minutes from the road with plenty bars and restaurants. We've moved on to Phuket for our second week but missing The Waters already."

The pool depth at the room access was only 0.5m so made entry/exit easier. "We absolutely loved our stay at Khao Lak Oriental Resort. We stayed in a swim-up room, which was amazing and really made our holiday extra special. The hotel has a lovely traditional Thai style and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was cleaned every day and the whole hotel was spotless. Beds and towels were changed whenever requested, and the housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay. There was a great selection at breakfast, with plenty of choice, and all of the staff were so friendly, welcoming and always happy to help with anything we needed. The location was perfect for us. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the main strip, with lots of bars, restaurants and shops, but there are also several bars and restaurants right on the doorstep if you don't fancy the short walk. We would definitely recommend the Khao Lak Oriental Resort and would happily stay here again. A lovely Thai-style hotel, fantastic staff, great location and a wonderful swim-up room — everything we could have asked for!"
