We had a wonderful stay at this lovely little hotel. The rooms are very clean and the garden surrounds are beautiful. The hosts are lovely and the breakfast was cooked fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend.

Lovely secluded bungalows set in a lush forest environment. Rooms are spotless and fresh. A peaceful, quiet location with shops and beaches only a few minutes away. Wonderful coke breakfast each day. A different dish served daily. The owner and her family- run business are lovely, friendly people who ensure a memorable stay.

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Nouth Resort. The bungalow was spotlessly clean and the grounds immaculately kept. We were able to hire a scooter which was really useful. The family who run The Mouth are exceptionally kind, friendly and welcoming. We were sad to leave and would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The Mouth is an unusual name for an unusually wonderful place to stay. The cottages are imaculate. The grounds are immaculate. The breakfasts are truly outstanding. The on-location owners are wonderful. If you want peace and quiet, this should be your first choice in the Lhao Lak area.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Mouth Resort. The family that runs the place is so kind and helpful. Mama cooks up an amazing breakfast as well! The resort was incredibly clean and well managed. We really liked the ability to rent the scooter as well directly from them. Such a friendly family that really makes you feel taken care of. They also have two absolutely adorable dogs and a cat!

Wonderful secluded bungalows in a beautiful train forest setting with bubbling creek and plunge pool. Owners and staff go above and beyond to ensure memorable stay. Individually cooked breakfasts with fruit platter are delicious and refreshing. Housekeeping does an immaculate job. A peaceful sense of isolation with separate bungalows and main strip work bars, restaurants, shops and markets 2km away. Will definitely return.

Peace, quiet, and natural beauty

We stayed at The Mouth Resort for 8 days. It is a really nice place - everything spotlessly clean and in great shape. The beds were very comfortable. It is quiet, inland off the main road, with lots of plants and a small stream. We probably saw more birds sitting outside here than we did visiting Khao Sok and the mangrove forest. The owner/host is nice and very helpful. The price is great for what you get. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay that feels like you are in nature, with bird song, frogs croaking, cicadas, etc., this is the place. But there's not much in easy walking distance (though we liked the Happy Snapper 2.0 restaurant), so if you stay here, you'll either want to rent something or be prepared to pay for taxis - a trivial cost compared to staying somewhere near the beach. We're not beach/party folks, so I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Die unterkunft liegt etwas abseits der hauptstrasse. Der strand und die nächsten geschäfte und restaurants sind in ca 10 minuten zu fuß erreichbar. Die unterkunft besteht aus mehreren kleinen häusern ca 35 qm mit terasse und eigenem bad. Wasserkocher und föhn sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Die gesamte anlage liegt in einer idyllischen gut gepflegten gartenanlage. Scooter können vor ort gemietet werden. Frühstück ist fantasievoll angerichtet. Bei allen fragen steht die besitzerin hilfreich zur Seite.

Hidden little gem close enough to walk to town but back far enough from the road for a quiet night’s sleep. Immaculately clean with everything in the room appearing to be brand new. Friendly and enjoyable proprietor who made us a nice breakfast of fresh fruit, toast, coffee, and an omelet. If you are looking to save some money while still having a nice place to stay, this is it.

Oerhört mysigt!

Det är ett jätte fint familjeägt. Det finns en pool, kylskåp och frukost om man vill. Sängen var jätte hård, men annars var allt bra. Det ligger lite avlägset så man måste hyra moppe om man inte vill gå i ca 20 min. Moppen tar ca 5 min till matmarknad. Vi var enbart där för att dyka så vi behövde enbart ett billigt ställe att sova på och det här stället var perfekt.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein kleines bescheidenes Zimmer, welches komplett ausreicht. Die besitzer des Hotels sind total freundlich. Bei der Verständigung gibt es manchmal probleme da das englisch nicht ganz so gut ist. Aber das wichtige kann gut komuniziert werden. Würden nochmals gehen!

This is an exceptional property. The bungalows are extremely clean and comfortable and the property is immaculate. The gardens are beautifully designed and enjoyable. The owners are attentive and extremely friendly. Breakfast was included and prepared fresh and tasty We highly recommend this location with easy access to pristine beaches if you have car or motorbike. Massage, restaurants, shopping are within walking distance.

Charmant endroit, calme et verdoyant!

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans ce charmant établissement. Les bungalows sont grands et confortables, le site est magnifique et verdoyant, mais c’est surtout les propriétaires qui sont le plus attachants. L’anglais n’est pas parfait, mais on réussit toujours à se comprendre, ça fait partie du plaisir de voyager! Petit déjeuner au choix de la cuisinière, nous avons eu droit à deux plats thaïs et deux plats plus nord-américains. Endroit à recommander, très bon rapport qualité prix!

We had an amazing time staying here. The family was so kind and it was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. The owner gave us a lot of advice about the best places to go and even got us a huge discount on our day trip to The Surin Islands! Also she has a cute dog.

The most picturesque, jungle-type accommodation, not too far from the beach. The owners were lovely and provide a cheap moped which I would highly recommend getting to explore the area, they also give you tips on where to go etc. Self contained, cleaned everyday, there were pineapples growing outside our room and you could hear gibbons call out in the morning! In my eyes, the best place to stay in this area and at an amazing price

Attractive Location

Recommended resort a little remote within easy reach of town which has no centre but built along the sides of the 1 main road. Clean,comfortable & friendly.
