The village boasts a bakery, inviting pubs, and the fantastic Clipper restaurant, ensuring there's never a shortage of delicious dining options. Additionally, the short walk to Teignmouth provided ample opportunities to explore the pier, browse quaint shops, indulge in cozy cafes, and even take a scenic ferry back to Shaldon, making it a truly memorable and picturesque...

"The property was very close to the harbour, which is why we chose it. Very modern, but homely as well. Was nice having two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and the showers were very modern and spacious."

"Perfect place to stay for a young family and dog! Great size rooms, safe and secure garden, and everything you could need for a short break. Lots of lovely local walks - including to the coastal path, and information left at the property to help you find local places to visit. The owners of the property were very helpful and considerate and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay. We will definitely be back!"

"We were 3 families with mostly older teens and young adults. House was very well equipped and in a great location for the seafront. There is short term parking outside for unloading and then a cheap long stay car park a few minutes walk away. House was a good size with a sunny backyard area with large table. Contrary to other reviews, there are 2 proper showers which was more than adequate for us. Everything was very clean and ready to go with keypad entry so easy to get in."

"This was probably the most ideal self catering property my daughter and I have stayed in since we started annual visits to Dartmouth in 1998. We loved the location, peaceful yet just a short drive to the town. The accommodation was spotless, spacious and provided everything we needed. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and the free range eggs, milk and scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam were an unexpected treat. A delightful stay in every way."

"Absolutely beautiful property. All rooms very well appointed and huge kitchen/diner and lounge. Directly across from beach road, cafes, pubs etc. Would recommend to any larger groups. You will not be disappointed :)"

"The house was fantastic. Very well equipped and the younger boys loved the bunk bed room (especially the tv in their room). The town centre is easily accessible from the house and so is open walking space. Lovely beaches within easy reach and breakfast or lunch at the Guardhouse Café on Berry Head is a must. The owner was great. Fantastic communication and a lovely selection of goodies on arrival. Highly recommended this property."

"The property is quite small but comfy, bright and clean. The decor is arty and attractive. The owners have put a lot of thought into making sure there is everything you need. The little covered patio at the nack gives a secluded restful place to relax."

"We were really surprised at how lovely the barn conversion was. Although it is a little off the beaten track it is ideal for exploring the area so close to all the busy commute roads, It is so quiet in the countryside you can really chill. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to visit again"

"Six of us stayed at Sunnybrook, for 3 nights.There was ample of space for us all, kitchen amenities had everything you can think of. Could not access the online guest book, there was a hard copy at property but not sure if we missed any info such as how to work the oven but we managed it. We really enjoyed our stay and was blessed with good weather so that we could sit and enjoy the garden. Didn’t need to contact host however bumped into someone when we arrived. Host messaged to check everything...

"What can we say other than “absolutely fabulous “. The house is amazing with beautiful views and facilities. Every bedroom is a good size so no one felt disadvantaged . The pool is perfect and beautifully warm . A big advantage is the local pub where we enjoyed a wonderful Sunday Roast . We felt very privileged to stay here and will visit again ."
