Downs Motel

8/10 Good
"We stayed overnight for early morning surgery at the Base Hospital. Location was good for this. We were given early check-in for which we were very grateful. Unfortunately due to being a public holiday we didn't get to look around the Burnoth Centre. Parking is tight but plenty of parking out the front of the motel. Our room was nice, clean and spacious, with somewhere to sit and eat, however the bathroom was in need of a Reno. Great shower pressure tho. Some little repairs on walls need their coat of paint. Good sized tv with free Netflix. Comfy bed. A bedside lamp missing on the wall. Good air con. Couple minor issues rectified immediately by friendly manager/owners? Didn't have mini bar as per advertisement but we forgot to ask about that anyway. Little shopping area approx 100m, walking distance with eatery options etc. We had no issues with noice. Breakfast is available however we never got to have this on this occasion. Good price point."
