Comfortable bed, friendly staff. Compact room. Maybe website should inform that there is currently no restaurant operating at the moment.

Looks like very much historical building. And quite clean room which have a all kitchen utility. But no bottle of water or water fountain at all.

Central location so convenient. Check in process was initially a little disappointing as the reception staff person ignored us totally for about 10 minutes while she dealt with another customer. There was no acknowledgment of our presence during this time. While understanding she was busy it would ...

The area like many regional cities seems to be suffering from a lack of planning by the council and/or state government
We visited Highfields for a family birthday which was held at the tavern. Tavern was nice except for food platters paid for did not come out until after all dining meals, unacceptable.
country area not yp with the times for modern food but what you would expect for a Qld country town
