"Lovely hotel we will be back. Liked our room with walk in shower as I. Disabled but it was a bit small ad bed small too plus dark with only a skylight. I’d ask for another room next time tho. The reception manager on at our late arrival was extremely nice and very helpful"

The hotel is a conversion from a very old house that's dark and a bit run down but the bar and restaurant are very nice. Overall very good value for money @ £85/night for double room and first rate 3 course meals from £17"

"We were given a spa voucher as a present and decided to treat ourselves and book in for the night. We were not disappointed. This hotel is worth its 5 star rating and more. The spa was lovely, especially the view over the golf course and out to the Ailsa Craig. The hotel was quite quiet due to the time of year so we were lucky to be upgraded to a suite. (That never happens to me!) The room was spotless and the staff were very attentive without being too overbearing. We started off saying that this would be a one off but are already making arrangements to return for longer. "
