"The Townhouse bed & breakfast was beautiful and welcoming the moment we walked up to the beautiful garden. The wife and husband hosts were fantastic, the room was elegant and cozy. The made to order breakfast was 5 star, prepared by the owner who is a professional chef. Only wished we had spent more time in the beautiful B&B."

"The hotel was immaculate, the staff were very welcome and accommodating. We stayed in the Whiskey room, it was absolutely stunning. I had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. We spent time in the bar where the drinks are reasonably priced. There are lots of different options for breakfast, made to order as well as continental options. The hotel also has free onsite parking. We were very happy with our stay, wish we had booked more than one night."

"The room (and possibly the entire hotel) looked to have been renovated recently? No air conditioning in the room and so it was a bit uncomfortable during the night. We only realised there was an electric fan at the back of the cupboard as we were leaving 🙄. The staff were nice and the parking was plentiful. Well located at the Ayr end of the high street and not too far from the beach. The breakfast was very tasty and they offered a good range. Overall we were very happy with our stay."

"We’re 76 and 71 years old. The property, while nice, does not have a lift. Very difficult for us to schlep our suitcases up three flights of stairs. It’s a “contactless” hotel, which worked out fine. No issues with access. The restaurant in front of the property, while not part of the hotel, was very nice and offered a discount to hotel guests."
