The hotel is fabulous. Accommodation and food both excellent. The staff go out of their way to make sure your stay is first class. The hotel has been fully refurbished resulting in a wonderful all round experience.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Abbotsford Hotel in Ayr. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was straightforward. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short visit. The hotel has a relaxed, welcoming feel, and breakfast was enjoyable with a decent range of options. The location was convenient for getting around Ayr without any hassle. Overall, it was a solid, comfortable stay that offered good value for money. Overall a pleasant stay.

We appreciated the ambiance and tastful decor becoming of the building. We felt as an older couple the stairs to room 15 rather awkward and the room itself a little small and restricted. Staff pleasant helpful and breakfast good.

Gorgeous property. Spent two nights for a little break, staff were fabulous and lovely quiet setting but a 25/30 min walk into town which was fine - lots of taxis. Only 10/15 mins to the beach. Breakfast was amazing too. Will definitely be back!!

This was our first stay at the Abbotsford Hotel and we were not disappointed. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. We were at a function so we did not have dinner at the hotel but the breakfast was delicious. We’ll be back.

Loved the property. Beautiful and charming in and out. Perfect stay on vacation though breakfast starts a bit too late 8am for business days. They can accommodate a cold breakfast for you earlier upon request.

A nice hotel, located within walking distance to the beach. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. We couldn’t fault the warm welcome we received from the staff, who were obviously very busy due to staff shortages. They were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us during our stay.

The staff are the most kind, friendly group of people! We arrived late due to unavoidable delays with the trains. When we arrived we were exhausted, and the front desk reception was understanding. He went out of his way to help us get our luggage up to our room and ensure we had everything we needed. The morning staff was just as friendly and helpful. The room was super comfortable, and cute! I can't wait to come back to Scotland just to stay here again!

Fabulous overnight stay

Stunning hotel. Weather was glorious and a lovely outside area to sit with a refreshment. Rooms are out of this world and all beautifully designed. Only thing missing is bottled water. Dinner and breakfast very tasty. Only complaint steak was very fatty and grizzly. Not great as it was £32.00. Bar has a great selection of drinks. Small and quaint bar area. Can get busy and you can loose your place in the queue. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
