"My stay at the Splendid Hotel in Taormina was absolutely wonderful. The location couldn’t be better - just a short walk to the town center and the cable car that takes you down to the sea. It’s the perfect base to explore everything Taormina has to offer. What truly stood out, though, was how warm and welcoming the atmosphere was from the moment I arrived. "I recently had the pleasure of staying at UNA Capotaormina Hotel in Taormina, Sicily, and while it wasn’t perfect, the experience was overall quite memorable.The real standout features of this hotel are the pool and the cave beach—absolutely stunning and definitely the highlight of the stay. The pool area is a perfect spot to unwind, with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. The beach, carved into the cliffside, offers a unique and secluded vibe, making it an idyllic spot to relax and soak in the beauty of the coast. The views from the hotel are something out of a postcard, particularly from the Le Grand Bleu restaurant, where you can enjoy a meal overlooking the ocean and Mount Etna. Dining there was an experience in itself—the food was good, though pricey, and you're really paying for experience. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh options. It really set a positive tone for the day. Room for Improvement: The hotel itself, while charming, is definitely dated. I wasn’t bothered by this during my stay, but I think a renovation could take UNA Capotaormina to the next level. The facilities are functional and comfortable, but a fresh update would elevate the experience and make the property feel more luxurious.
