"Before checking in Irina, the owner, told us that the area had been fire-damaged and gave us the option of cancelling. We went ahead and ended up being the only guests over the Easter weekend in the three remaining cabins (three were lost in the fire). The other guests appeard to have cancelled, which was their loss. We had a BALL! The burnt bush was beautiful in its own way, and the surrounding area is gorgeous. The cabin is just that - a cabin; but comfortable and warm, with an outside firepit...

"What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks all.
