I enjoyed my stay at twin pine suites. The room was spacious and clean. The cabinet has enough space. The bathroom is large with 2 sinks and a bath tub. The hot and cold water work well.
I went during peak season (holy week) and felt that the rates were higher than usual. It cost me 3800 per night and I stayed for 3 nights. Based on my experience with other hotels, 2500- 2700 would have been a fair price per night.
The booking process was a breeze. One time payment - no hassles. There is a beautiful garden that I could see from my bedroom or balcony.
The owner and his wife were very nice and helpful. The area is surrounded by restaurants so there is plenty of choice for food. The location is just opposite to ArmyNavy.
There are 5 rooms in total so I guess it was a house converted into a hotel.
There are books and magazines available in the room and at the reception.
The aircon is old and noisy but the weather was cool so we never needed to use it. We enjoyed the cool breeze coming from the window and the balcony. There is a small cafe at the ground floor where breakfast is served from 8 to 10 am.
I do not eat meat and the owner was very accomodating in providing breakfast of my choice.
There is a small flat tv with cable channels which we did not use much as we wanted time away from our usual lives. I slept for many long hours peacefully and felt relaxed after waking up in the morning.
Thank you Mr and Mrs Robert for hosting us.
