"We had a issue with the room allocated but after speaking with the Manager (Amee) we were given a superior room. Amme dealt with out issue very politely and promptly. Her service was excellent."

"This was our first ever stay in Winchester. The staff at the hotel were warm and welcoming and took our baggage and stored this safely as we had arrived earlier than expected. Our room was spacious and clean. The reception team and health spa staff were magnificent and were able to deal with each and every one of our requests. The spa itself was exceptionally clean, due to the staff who clearly take pride in their work. The breakfast buffet had a good range of hot options as well as cereals, croissants and pastries and the coffee was good. The breakfast team were highly professional and welcoming. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at the Winchester Hotel and Spa which is in walking distance from the train station and historic City centre."

"Vast hotel, but immaculate and with really helpful staff. Only downside was that check in was after 4pm and the pool closed at 5pm. Breakfast was plentiful, but not very tasty."

"BEAUTIFUL grounds and main hotel areas, super helpful and welcoming staff. The room itself had basic amenities, and smelt like it was an ex- smokers room. May just be that the soft furnishings needed replacing. The room was dated and needed an upgrade. It would have been good to have a safe in the room too. Everything else about the hotel was wonderful and it was a shame it was only a fleeting visit. Slightly overpriced considering the room itself."
