"We love Shenandoah National Park and Big Meadows. We like the convenience of staying in the park. The lodge is very dog friendly which is nice since we travel with the dog. We have never visited this late in the season, so we didn’t hike. The visitor center was closed due to government shut down. I would classify the lodge as rustic. Room was comfortable."
