"McDonald Ranch was the perfect place for us to stay during our vacation. It is pretty centrally located in between Custer State Park, the Black Hills, Rapid City, and the Badlands. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and the entire location was very well maintained. We woke up to beautiful sunrises and deer outside of the door every morning, overlooking a stunning valley. Overall it was just the perfect place for us to experience South Dakota for the first time. We will definitely be coming back."
