3/5 Okay

The Baxley was convenient for me and my needs as it was a walkable distance from everything I needed to access. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would rate my experience overall about 3/5 however, as I found the walls to be paper thin and there were a lot of noisy guests down the hallway and upstairs which made it hard to sleep at some points. I was only staying a couple of nights and I was by myself, so I opted for the cheapest room, being the single room. Even still, I wouldn't go for this option as the room was tiny even for just myself, there was no toilet or shower in the room which I did not realise in my hurried booking. I find it unacceptable that a place can offer rooms without its own basic ameneties. I had to go down the hall to go to the toilet and shower, which was inconvenient when other people were using it and I was locked out until they were done. I didn't like the fact that you had to share a bathroom with random people, it was as if I was staying in a hostel. Not to mention, you would have to bring your swipe pass with you whenever you wanted to go to the toilet. If I were to stay here again I think I would opt for a double or queen room upstairs.
