Wir hatten das Hotel für 2 Wochen gebucht, weil Australien wirklich teuer ist. Anfänglich wurden wir in einem Zimmer untergebracht, wo es drin nach Schimmel gerochen hat und wenn es geregnet hat der halbe Boden voll getropft war, dies galt auch für unser Bad. Erst auf Anfrage wurden wir in ein anderes Zimmer untergebracht. Dieses Zimmer roch tagelang streng nach Urin. Den Müll durften wir jeden Tag selber leeren und auf Anfrage nach Toilettenpapier bekamen wir die Bemerkung, dass wir viel verbrauchen würden. Zwei Wochen nach Check Out wurden einfach 85$ einbehalten, ohne jegliche Begründung geschweige denn Nachricht oder Ankündigung. Auf meine Nachricht hat die Hotelbesitzerin nicht geantwortet. Einfach asozial. Wir warten immer noch auf die Rückzahlung
Ten hotel to fatalny wybór jakiego dokonaliśmy. Zdjęcia w ofercie nie odpowiadały zupełnie wyglądowi wnętrza w rzeczywistości. Brudno, zapach stęchlizny, zagracona klatka schodowa. Pokój ciasny, wszystko w nim było brudne, z popękanymi brudnymi szybami, odpadająca farba na suficie. Chodniczki na podłodze to jakieś stare ścierki, lodówka stojąca na starym ręczniku. Wszysto się sypało ze starości. Nikt nie sprzątał ani klatki schodowej, ani pokoju przez 4 dni pobytu. Obsługa najgorsza jaką można sobie wyobrazić, jeszcze nigdy takiej nie spotkałem. Głównie był to jakiś opryskliwy staruch, wiecznie śpiący w swoim pokoju. Raz pojawiła się pani „manadżer”, z którą też było się trudno dogadać. Nigdy nie odbierała również telefonu, którego numer był podany na okienku w recepcji. W recepcji nigdy nikogo nie było. Ze względu na problemy w czasie lotu z Wrocławia do Sydney dotarliśmy na miejsce z dwugodzinnym opóźnieniem (w hotelu byliśmy po godz 22-giej. Nie mogliśmy się dostać do hotelu. Wreszcie, po usilnym dzwonieniu i dobijaniu się stary właściciel nam otworzył. Miał ogromne pretensje, że go obudziliśmy. Pobrał od nas 150 $ australijskich. Przed opuszczeniem hotelu okazało się, że potrącił z tej kwoty 50 $ za nasz zbyt późne zameldowanie się w hotelu i kolejne 25 $ za jakieś plamy na chodniczku-ścierce w pokoju. Odradzam wszystkim korzystania z tego hotelu!!!
I've stayed here several times, and always find the hotel very adeqoate. The hotel is at the lower end of the price scale, but always clean and the staff friendly, etc. I'll use them again.

Sally was wonderful,very friendly warm and welcoming.
The building was too old and needs a lot of work.How can foor prints on a ceiling at least 40 foot high be explained.

Too expensive for what it is ! Very old building and need very big renovations. Spider's web a bit averywhere and bathroom not really clean...
However the staff is very good. A young Columbian guys welcome is and he is really nice and try to arrange things as best as possible.
Very disappointed of this hotel. The room is dirty and the walls are cracked and there's a bad smell. There's no reception, I asked for housekeeping but no one showed up. The window won't close.
We travel budget so we are used to hotels which have faults, but this one is the worst ever.
When you step into the lobby you get the first warning by a smell of mould.
We didn't get the balcony room we ordered, and the room no 2 that we got turned out to have a very bad smell of mould and sevage, unhealthy was our thouhts. The room had no windows to allow for fresh air.
If we had had the option to cancel the reservation we would have left immediately.
Next day we asked for the booked room with a balcony and got moved to room 10.
This room did only smell in the bathroom, but to avoid the stench in the room we had to have open windows all the time. The backside of this was that the street was noisy from 04:00 and +15 moscito bites.
Don't choose this room, you can go too cheap!!
I was disgusted with the whole experience. Very old and badly maintained. It was one of the hottest night in Sydney and there is no airconditioner or ceiling fan. A old fashioned fan was put on but it didn't creat any coolness. We paid for two nights but luckly got an earlier flight out of Sydney and so only spent one night there. When I saw the hotel which also had no lift and I had a sore knee and had to climb up two floors with out luggage when we left. The carpet on the stairs was torn which could have been very dangerous especially with my sore knee. There was a hole which had been punched into the bathroom door and the blinds at the window were all broken. I don't know when your photo was taken but the paint is all peeling off and it looks terrible. I was totally disappointed with this and wont be using Wotif again.
Hotel accepted my booking and then locked me out. Met another guest who had the same problem. No refund from hotel. No call. No service. The area is very unsafe at night, I was accosted by a drunk while I tried to sort out the accommodation. Travellers beware.

pros and cons
This hotel has its pros and cons.
The pros are that it is in a really good location, the bed was comfortable, it has a microwave, fridge, tv and kettle in the room which you don’t get with most hotels. The check out times aren’t very strict which is good to leave luggage etc if you have a late flight.
Cons, the room could do with a bit of a touch up, but for a single person 4 night stay, it done me fine.
There’s not really a front desk and to get in you have to ring a bell or ring the phone, until you get a key.
There only seems to be one staff member, although she was great and really helpful.
I’d definitly stay here again for a short journey and by myself.
