We had a good experience staying in this house. The house was clean, had all the amenities and appliances listed in the house. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Only, downside is the amount of stairs to enter the property (specially with heavy luggage) and the fact that the beach is not as closed as we expected.
The house was newly renovated so lovely & fresh & very attractive. The living room & 2 main bedrooms were very spacious. The other 2 bedrooms are smaller, but perfectly adequate for 1 person, OK for 2. Although it was quite near a major road, it was very quiet. The house itself suited our requirements perfectly.The description when we booked said it was ground level which grossly misrepresented access to the house. We were warned that there were steps that may cause problems if mobility issues. But had assumed it was the internal staircase in the photos. So we were very surprised on arrival. The house is at the back of the block that slopes steeply down from the road. Hence you are required to walk down a short steep concrete driveway, then negotiate 51 steps to down to the front door. These steps vary widely in construction from old steps cut into the bedrock, to industrial steel staircases, to uneven brick steps (with trip hazard lips) to white pebble steps. The rise & run of the steps is inconsistent requiring concentration to negotiate. Note the owner has modified their description & photos of the access to the property following our stay. There are numerous single steps (trip hazards) within the house, which hopefully the owner will more clearly define after our suggestions. By all means enjoy this lovely property, but consider your mobility issues & pack a backpack or shoulder bag rather than a heavy wheeled suitcase, or take up their offer to carry your bags.
