"Our Room number 1 was spotless, modern and spacious. Excellent value for money coupled with an excellent breakfast, cooked to order. High quality ingredients. "

"Great place ! Easily located , excellent service all round. Very clean and spacious room . Only downside to this stay was the very noisy floorboard above my room . Without fail whenever someone moving about upstairs it would wake you . Not ideal as this was often around the 5am time and would wake you . I’d def stay again however as everything else makes up for it . "

"Lovely food, lovely rooms, very friendly. Good range of beer/cider on tap including duration beer, aspalls and neck oil. Lovely traditional pub with open fire would highly recommend. Staff are very welcoming."

"Fantastic place. Went for my husband’s birthday, had drinks, dinner, massages & breakfast. All of the food was amazing & staff were really friendly and helpful. The bed was really comfy. Sadly it was raining too much to use the fire pit, but maybe another time! The room had decent sized mugs with a good selection of tea & coffee and a fairly good hairdryer- we had everything we needed. "
