Fantastic accommodation. Clean and well equipped. Nice food at George and Dragon pub. Only 1 thing would have improved our stay and that would be table and chairs to sit outside. Highly recommended place to stay

Quiet location no breakfast but it is a motel and the pub next door don’t do breakfast so come prepared other than that the room and bathroom are bigger than most and it it was so clean and comfortable, bed is massive and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place. Pub staff very polite and helpful. But book a table as it’s very busy.

A lovely stay. The combination of a really nice room and a great pub provided us the a super Valentine’s Day and Night experience. We loved the underfloor heating, the space, the big bed and the bath and shower.

The property was great, good parking, easy check in and very clean. My only complaint was the fact there is no mirror in the main room where the dressing table area is so when getting ready and straightening my hair and doing make up it wasn’t convenient with only a mirror in the bathroom. But it wouldn’t stop me coming back. The pub next door was amazing food and atmosphere and the staff where very very good. Would return. There isn’t much else close by but we knew this before we came as we wasn’t planning on venturing out anyway so the pub was perfect for us.

Fantastic weekend away

Really enjoyed our weekend away and will recommend this to all of our friends and family. Really friendly people. Good luck to to you all in the future. I would recommend the George & Dragon pub for a beautiful meal and drink also.

The room was very large, light and airy, with a king size bed, and a large bathroom. It was immaculately clean and very thoughtfully appointed with lots of tea and milk, coffee with Nespresso machine. It really was of top quality and the next time we visit our family we will definitely stay here.

Outstanding!

The communications throughout have been fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. I was I able to leave our car in their car park well before check in time. With it being Sunday I was unable to book a Taxi to our granddaughters christening. Staff very kindly offered and drove us the 12 miles to the church! Absolutely outstanding!!!! The whole experience was fantastic and I highly rercommend the Pig Shed Motel for beautiful rooms, very tranquil location and outstanding customer service!

Beautifully decorated and appointed. Large TV in room. Comfortable bed. Only negative is that the room was hot so had to open window and nearby road is noisy. Also walls thin so could hear people in next room using bathroom, coughing etc. Which disturbed my sleep.

Fantastic place

What an amazing place. Fantastic size room with really comfy bed, a second arm chair would have made the whole experience 110%. Loved the little tea/coffee area secreted away in the cupboard fully stocked with everything. We took our own breakfast and ate it overlooking the wild flowers from our window

Another Night Away

I have stayed here on numerous occasions. It never fails to impress. The food next door at The George & Dragon is excellent. Pity there’s no breakfast option.
