Both the guesthouse and restaurant are a must-see, must do. And by the way, that risotto was amazing! "

"My wife and I booked one night at the A Hilltop Country Retreat and it was exactly that, a retreat. We had a great stay, the unit was comfortable and clean and will definitely book again and recommend to friends and family. "

"My wife and I stayed for two nights. We had the Africa Suite which was comfortable, well furnished and spacious with a huge naturally-lit bathroom. The property itself is well maintained with lovely semi tropical gardens and a nice pool area. 4 stars would not be enough but I would have given 4 1/2 if I could for a couple of reasons. (1) the hotel is a long way from the centre (30/40 minute walk at least and) where most of the restaurants are and (2) although efficient, the lady on reception was not particularly welcoming (but not unpleasant) and seemed to have little interest in us, something that we have not found with other hotels during our stay. Would we go back? Probably not although it really is a very nice property for a relaxing stay."
