I can't imagine myself staying anywhere else when I'm in Sydney. This is a gorgeous hotel, so quiet and dark (great for sleeping!), with super helpful and friendly staff, lovely décor, and some really special touches like the bar/cafe, gin cart and rooftop. Absolutely loved my stay here.

Had a short but pleasant stay. Room was spotless and comfortable. I found the staff welcoming on arrival and were always friendly. The hotel is very well situated to the train and if travelling to the Entertainment precinct was a 5min walk to the light rail. Overall would come back

Lovely clean room, great location and friendly helpful staff. I was on foot so easy access to train from the airport and lots of easy food options. When my flight home was cancelled I went back and stayed another night at a great price. Would like to stay again sometime.

We are always very welcome at The Royal Exhibition Hotel. The Girls there are so friendly . They make you so welcome. Barry is also very friendly and helpful. Our rooms are great for a stay as we stay roughly around every six weeks. The area suits us great we always feel very safe staying there. Possibly the bathroom in the upstairs room we had is a little tired not the room it is very comfortable.

Wasn't expecting too much for the price I paid.
WOW - exceeded my expectations.
Double with ensuite was clean an quiet.
Excellent staff, location, airco, plenty of hot water and comfy bed. The communal kitchen is well kitted out and keep clean and tidy.
The rooftop terrace is cool - even has a Sydney tower view.
Luggage storage for a few hours after checkout - much appreciated
Minor beef - no fridge in ensuite rooms - had to go down 2 floors to a communal fridge.
Wasn't expecting too much for the price I paid.

Hotel located just next to the Central railway station and it is easy to get to many place such as Sydney CBD, Darling Harbour, China town and many other. Room was basic but it was clean and comfortable. There are no lift so it is not recommend for people who is not easy with steps.

I was attending the City2Surf and this place was very reasonably priced and convenient to the race start and CBD.
It states it is a live music venue and can be noisy, certainly not my experience on a Saturday night, couldn't hear a thing in my room.
Takes awhile for the hot water to come through, but that was noted in the information in the room.
