Comfy and convenient
The unit was very comfortable and located directly across the street from Happy Valley Beach. Shops and places to eat very close and the boardwalk and park area along the foreshore was terrific in the afternoons.

Awesome stay with an incredible view. The view from the kitchen and living room/balcony was stunning. The only downside was parking in the garage under the building. With a full size SUV it was a really tight fit but there was lots of free parking on the street. The managers were very helpful with directing us to the free parking spots and there was always some available.

I loved the location & the proprietors were very helpful & kind & even let me have a late checkout on my last day after I came out of Hospital. I would definately recommend Joanne's Appartments

Nice….unfortunately though there was no lift. Outside lights were shining into apartment all night. Close to everything. Appreciated being able to get into room early. Overall pleasant stay. Would stay again.

Nice view, great location, heated pool was nice, easy parking, good size. Could have been cleaner, no lift available for upstairs. Room was really quite run down.

We rented 4 units. All had well-appointed kitchens, the view and number of chairs in the unit we stayed in was wonderful. We didn't like the noise of the buses and the separation between the 2 unit blocks was ok as we had fine weather but would be a problem in rainy weather. We had a very enjoyable time and would stay there again.

Very sorry about the sand Steven, the floors are always vacuumed and mopped so I do not know what happened. I do know that there have been a couple of apartments that have had half of Bulcock Beach in them when the guests have left so some of the sand may have been missed.

This is a great place to stay. Wonderful manager, la comfortable apartment with everything we needed and a beautiful ocean view, lovely pools, and just a short stroll to the beach. The perfect place for my 5 day getaway with my daughter!

Unfortunately we had a good view of the roof next door, should have been advertised as partial ocean view. Unit was clean and tiidy. Double glazing on the windows would help with the noise from the road. Would rate it 3 stars.

Can not fault the location of where Joanne Apartments are. However the apartment itself left a lot to be desired. No blinds in kitchen and lounge room so felt exposed in apartment. There was a urine smell in the main bedroom which meant no one could sleep in there. We left early as we felt uncomfortable.

Hi Melissa, I am very sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. The apartment you stayed in is actually one of our most popular apartments with the most repeat guests. The lack of window coverings does not suit everyone, but it is the owners choice and it does not affect 99% of the guests who stay in that apartment. The guest who checked into that apartment after you left did not smell anything, we have all been in there and checked for ourselves and there is no smell of urine. The cleaners would have noticed it when they were cleaning it before your stay, it is not something they would ignore as we are all very conscious of bad reviews and the health and happiness of our guests. As you told me you were leaving early due to a family emergency we had no idea that you were not happy with your stay, and could have moved your apartment.

Overall, a great location within easy walking distance of the beach and local shops. Our 2nd floor apartment had a great view to the sea and beach. Easy undercover parking on site was a great bonus. Apartment was very spacious and as described with all the amenities required, although the decor was a little old. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Just an important note that there is no lift on this property (not a problem for us and clearly stated on the description). Also, the bathroom tiles a little slippery when wet. Also note, that there is only one aircon in the whole apartment which is in the lounge/kitchen area - quite powerful though and seems to be sufficient for the apartment size but means it is difficult to regulate the temperature in the bedrooms sometimes.

A very nice apartment. Very convenient location. 6 night stay in a non smoking renovated room. Unfortunately it's not a non smoking building as nearby apartments had smokers on their balconies. Lots to do within walking distance or a short drive. I highly recommend this property.

Booked last minute so absolutely thrilled with the apartment. Location was amazing, 2 minutes to the water. Did the coastal walk every morning which was a fantastic way to start the day. IGA 5 mins walk away, coast lined with restaurants & takeaway shops. The Main Street also around the corner with anything you want. The apartment itself was comfortable, don’t expect flashy but I was really happy here.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The location is terrific being a short walk to some lovely beaches and also a short walk to many good local shops for window shopping which is as much as we are able to do at present. Some of the local shops are also selling online so I will be looking up some of them now in isolation. We were given excellent tips on where to find good places to get takeaway and if we chose to cook, the facilities and equipment were excellent.

The apartments are perfectly positioned, close to everything, walking distance to shops, pubs and beaches. Apartments have 2 beautiful pools surrounsed by well kept gardens. There's aircon in the main lounge/dining area, but none in thw bedrooms, but with rhe sea breeze you won't need it to drift off to sleep

The pool is closed early unable to use at night. There is no parking available at reception had to park at the beach carpark and walk in the heat. The pool water was not very clean.
