"The resort relies on the sheer breathtaking beauty of the lake and quite justifiably. It caters for an enormous number of people from across the globe and that is obviously a challenge. Is it value for money? That depends on personal values. We are very pleased we stayed and enjoyed the experience. But the rooms nerd size, not large in other words and well equipped. The restaurant food is not much better than ok in most respects. Breakfast buffet is crammed with people all trying to get at it and the offer of tinned fruit is disappointing. The staff were marvellous apart from each restaurant at the welcome desk they seem to be over-burdened with the technology. The tablet is king! Clearly it is a hassle because they rarely smile and go heads-down straight away to allocate a table I presume. One staff member said they had been working there several weeks and still didn’t feel comfortable with the tablet. Also the food in other restaurants is acceptable with odd flashes of excellence. Ok everything has to travel a long way but I feel sure they could manage a better experience. Overall a great experience but too expensive for what it offers."

"Quiet luxury, set in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Art is everywhere, inspiring the mind and soul. Save time for hiking the many trails, but come back to enjoy the peace & quiet in the library. Shoulder season is a perfect time to retreat here. Relax in your room, fireplace and soaker tub to warm you up after a day on the trails. "The location is everything! We hiked the mile to and from Lake Louise for the Lake Moraine shuttle one day and back the next to hike to the Tea House. It was a beautiful drive to and from Banff for shopping and dinner. The beds were comfortable, rooms were quiet and had everything you would need. Loved the fresh cream, milk and oat milk and also the complimentary local teas."
